I saw Lester's demise as some sort of justice for Wrench & Numbers, they were going to put him in the ice before he got away. Although they eventually figured out he wasn't the guy they were looking for.. but still.

I also loved the scenes with Molly's dad (Keith Carradine) in the final couple of episodes. They were insanely well done.

And yea Tyrant looks interesting, I'm gonna give it a shot as well.

The first few episodes got my expectations way up but after the blizzard episode it crashed pretty hard after that to me.

It's one of the few TV drama series I've made it through in recent years, though I might not have had the lady not been keeping up with the DVR. It's good to see truly evil, not-even-considering-whether-what-I'm-doing-is-bad characters on TV again.

That said, the show was up its own ass. They started doing backsells with: "Erstwhile on Fargo..."

Just got a second season today. According to reports, season 2 will take place in Sioux Falls,in 1979 and following Carradines character in his younger days.

Yeah, it's actually a best case scenario imo. Stoked, but going to have to wait for over a year (Fall 2015 at the earliest).

Second season of this has been stellar, four shows in! I think overall it's been more consistent than the first season, which kind of felt like the Billy Bob Thornton show at times. The DEVO "Too Much Paranoias" sequence was totally amazing!

This is making up for the stinker of the second season of True Detective for sure.

Haven't seen the the 4th episode yet but truer words have not been stated. I literally had this thought halfway through the 1st episode.

And yeah, this season is fucking amazing. I think it benefits from not having to emulate the movie as much as season 1.

My favorite show on TV. I feel bad for all of the morons not watching this show because it's a gem.

I like it better than the first season and I fucking loved the first season.

Great show. I'm glad the 2nd season is just as good as/if not better than the first season. It's gearing up for the big war to come.

RENEWED FOR SEASON THREE!!!

This show is totally off the hook. This is at least in my top five TV seasons of all-time. Maybe it'll end up higher, when it's all done.

The Jethro Tull opening montage was one of the best so far. Almost makes up for not having anymore bare-ass shots of Simone going forward.

I love the recurring theme of having reinterpretation songs from soundtracks of Coen Brother movies. The worship is so deep and complex. My favorite show on television right now. Anyone who isn't watching is a fucking moron.

Pretty fucking great. I just watched the finale and while I'm not 100% behind the last couple episodes, I cannot complain. I'll probably need to watch the whole thing in a block to greater appreciate the arcs of all the survivors.

The "War Pigs" opening to the finale was awesome, but they could have picked a doomier Sabbath track for the nightmare sequence. Anyway, I guess we're still watching network television, so I can't complain.

Season Three is supposed to occur after Season One with some recurring characters. Noah Hawley has said that Molly Solverson will NOT be a major player because they put her through the wringer in the first season. Seems to me that it'll involve Gus (Tom Hanks' kid) and Mike Milligan 35 years after his promotion into "accounting". Maybe Hanzi returns? Seems to be inevitable really? If all of the above happens, it would be REALLY sweet!

I was under the impression we saw Hanzi in the first season

Huh, I read the article and they didn't find a very American Indian looking guy to link him to (even with a massive facial surgery).

Image

Anyway, that's apparently him, so I guess no Hanzi in Season Three (as Malvo already killed him in Fargo).

There's also a theory that one of the deaf kids Hanzi saves at the end becomes the deaf hitman that showed up in Season One.

I'm enjoying this season overall but much like season 2, it's not blowing my mind or anything. A bit uneven in pace at times but still about the only thing on tv worth watching at the moment.

Really? I thought Season 2 was the best one so far.

Enjoyed Season 3, but it was a bit of a letdown. They were definitely going for deeper meanings/messages in this one, not unlike what the Coen's will occasionally delve into.

I thought the last season of Saul, which ran the same time as this, was stronger overall.
