Grabbed a nice copy of Neil Young - Time Fades Away, earlier today. The other day I got the new Boards of Canada and Tim Hecker's new one. All vinyl. I'm seeing Red Fang this Sunday and plan on picking up their new one.

Do you know Long May You Run or Hawks & Doves? They are missing from my Neil Young library.

Thanks. I need to fill in a few Neil Young holes & actually don't know much about 3 or 4 of his albums.

Did fill a few at a comic book fair in an oversized garage this weekend.

Bob Dylan - Freewheelin'
Townes Van Zandt - Delta Momma Blues
Atomic Rooster - IV
Some best of Otis Redding dbl LP & a couple of other things that escape my memory.

I browsed ATH recently and made a $500 order or something, slept on it since, I don't need to spend like there's no tomorrow. there is a tomorrow. that's not something I sweat. but man I haven't bought anything new in 9 years, a couple cd's maybe and those weren't new to me. still living on my pre-youtube collection, half of which aint even on the internet, just for me. we invented it. more and more watered down each year, most of what I was going to buy is back in that era, stuff I sold even and want back. see I know enough now not to just let things go. chip away at that order if I have to. that's money that can be flipped overnight, all different kinds of ways. or no ways at all, just nice having.

Been wanting this ever since hearing this Sabbath Bloody Sabbath remaster at Music Millennium.
Finally came up at a reasonable used price on ebay. Everything in VG++ shape too. Stoked.

That's awesome. Shit has gotten very reasonable on eBay, plus, CDs just don't pack a $$$ punch in the digital world.

I know this opinion is probably going to get me e-sodomized, but the more I listen to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, the less I think of it as a "rock" record. Big sweeping choruses & songs like "Fluff," I guess.

For a week once, "Dust My Broom" was the only song to which I listened.

That Dragonfly record rules. Surprised it doesn't get more love in this scene, as it's a heavy one.

I'm going record shopping today, buy two vinyl get one free at Newbury Comics. I'm all over that like cheese on grits.

Yeah, that's a great one and I was suprised to find it. I was thinking about getting some other stuff, but I assumed I wouldn't run into Dragonfly again soon, so I took that one instead.

I found the Hawkwind one in a bargain bin for 7.5 euros and it sounds nice. I've had others which hissed and crackled a lot (the records looked clean though), so I'm looking to replace those.

In what seems to have been scaled back to an annual event:

- Clutch - Earth Rocker picture disc w/ live version
- AC/DC - Flick of the Switch LP
- Earthless - From the Ages (Red) (2LP)*
- Causa Sui - Euporie Tide (2LP)*
- Bible of the Devil - Freedom Metal LP*
- Crippled Black Phoenix - Mankind the Crafty Ape (2LP)

* ATH purchases, because that still matters to me.

Bought a handful of $6.66 stuff from ATH including the normally cost-prohibitive import picture disc of the second Keelhaul album. Normally I don't care for picture discs, but that album is awesome and it has boobs on it. Also grabbed a couple of discounted Marble Sheep discs and the Nails - Obscene Humanity 7".

I bought a few comp CDs from the Arthur magazine liquidation sale, including the disc Al Cisneros curated. If they still have any left, I highly recommend grabbing one. I think they were down to $3.

Burger Records had a Valentine's Day sale (I sense a recurring theme here). I got a $3 cassette of the first Masters of Reality album b/w the How High The Moon show because my '98 Honda still has a tape deck.

Oh, and I pre-ordered the new Sheavy album from Hydrophonic and LOVE CULT TAKE DRUSS from Trensmat, and I bought my ticket for Spirit Caravan in April.

I ended up getting the Floor - s/t reissue LP + bonus 7", the Handsome - s/t reissue LP + bonus 7", and The National - Trouble Will Find Me 2xLP. Good stuff...I might go back for more later.

Waiting for it to arrive. Read great synergy with this cart and vintage Pioneer TT's, so thought i'd take the plunge and throw it on my PL-530 deck.
