The new Black Mountain is brilliant, totally recommended. I'd love a copy on vinyl . I got given Kings Of Frog Island III in vinyl a short while back by Mat, its sounds great, as do the previous two.

Both the Black Mountain and The Brought Low albums sound amazing on the wax too! I just finally broke down and got a turntable a few months ago, and i have dumped far too much money on 180 gram vinyl over the last two months... My wife is going to kill me when the credit card bill shows up.

Whoa....that packaging is awesome, seriously. Can't imagine that it was cheap to do.

Picked up the new Agalloch. Great album thus far, I've only had the time to sample the first three songs. It's fairly dark through so far so I'm hoping it stays that way.

I bought a pretty nice old record player off of a dude from work recently and I've been on a vinyl buying kick. Shit sounds so much better than it did through the old Crosley suitcase record player I was using before.

Some of my recent purchases:

Captain Beyond - self titled
Stone Axe - Before Rock and Roll You Only Had God
Ten Years After - Undead
Witchcraft - The Alchemist (orange vinyl)

I'm heading up to catch Pearls and Brass in a few weeks and we're planning on stopping at this record store on the way called Double Decker Records in Allentown,PA. Never been but it's supposed to have a pretty big selection. Pretty stoked about checking that place out.

Maserati - Pyramid of the Sun (spinning this now. Pretty good. Steve Moore collaborated on the album and Tony Paterra is playing live with them now)
Atheist - Jupiter (amazing in that it sounds like they picked up exactly where they left off at 'Unquestionable Presence')
La Ostacina - Reality has Got to Die (fucking rad heavy prog band from Brooklyn)
Until the Light Takes Us 2DVD (really enjoying this. Got it over a week ago and still haven't gotten through the entire 4 hours of bonus footage on the bonus DVD)

Ordered from ATIH:

Burning Witch - Crippled Lucifer 2CD reissue
Ghost - the Swedish band, whatever it is called

The new Maserati is good, I picked that up, too. Also the new Agalloch thing but I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.

Rezet - Have gun will travel

New German thrash metal, red vinyl. There's a bar in The Hague that can hold about 80 people (and it's really crowded when there are 80 people), they have lots of live music. Punk, hardcore, Oi!, metal. I saw 999 there, recently, a week later Atilla the Stockbroker, 2-3 weeks ago three thrash metal bands. Totally 80's look that night: all three bands wore skin-tight jeans, studded belts and amo-belts and high top sneakers. Dutch band: Evil Invaders, Polish Band: ehm... forgot the name, Rezet, Germany. Thrash, thrash, thrash.
