Hey what's the deal with this new band? Solarized seemed to go out with a fizzle almost a decade ago now (I believe) and there was exactly dick for news about them... now this coming Halfway To Gone gig features Electrikill too. Anyone know anything further? Would love to hear them because I loved the early Solarized stuff...

this band by all accounts should kill. i saw the previous incarnation called walk with fire or walk in fire, can remember which name but they had john salts of lethal aggression singing for them then. they got a new singer (don't know who) and changed the name to Electrikill.... also anything with the Hinge in it, ( ex the beast & x-men) i'll support....

I talked to Lou Halfway today and apparently Electrikill are off the bill for that show at the Brighton. X-Men are playing instead. Lou said he only found out last night and isn't sure what happened.

Kind of a bummer. I'll still go see Halfway, obviously, but I was looking forward to hearing Electrikill too.
