Hey to our fearless leader, Lisa, Chuck and uh Dane I think it was mannin' the merch, you guys were all awesome.

Got there around 8:30, good amount of doomed people outside. Waited for my lady friend. Went in around 8:50 I think?

Drinks, sit. Merch. spotted. Meet Chuck and uh Dane was it, said gotta have that Pallbearer CD, bam, Dane (SHIT man, what was your name? Dave?) whips out a free TOAD CD, called uh rotten something. He said I may not like it. I was like dude do you know my musical preferences/dude are you giving me a free CD right now (pretty sure I actually said that latter part.) Then Chuck is like what size are you and I'm like I don't know, XL, HE then proceeds to start giving me a free shirt (don't know what band, it's 2 hands angling down toward each other trying to hang onto something that is badly injured, or at least bleeding, in white and black.) & I'm like dude are you giving me a shirt right now? And we laughed, and we laughed b/c I wore my Vitus shirt to Vitus; Chuck said my shirt was awesome and that "I was in the right place" lol

Personally I think you should get free drinks if you wear Vitus to Vitus.

ANYWHO

Sewer Goddess get going. What

In

The

FUCK.

That first song was absolutely terrible. It's like they were trying to be evil, and dark, and scary, and slow, and none of it was working, or they were trying too hard to be those things.

Smoke break, hideous sounds inside.

Back in standing toward the back this time, drinks

Wait for that to end, shout funny things it's over.

Hot damn, there they are. Fucking Pallbearer.

I'll say that the set was the most fun that I had had at a gig since before 2008. This was pure, unsaturated traditional in all the best tenses.

Stayed for some of Loss, but nothing was topping Pallbearer's set, so we leave.

I mean they were good, but they put you in two totally different moods, and the mellow vibe Pallbearer gives me was just beating the negative sounds of Loss.

I am tired. Good nite.
