This release is almost a year old, but I only just stumbled across it. Better late than never. This is killer stuff. Refreshingly different, but still very much doom. I've read reviews comparing Ice Dragon's sound to EW and 70s epic Heavy Metal. I hear the EW, but I also hear Misfits, Doors and Birthday Party. Whatever they owe their sound to, it's a great album and its a cheap download on Bandcamp:

Ice Dragon is about to release their follow-up. I pre-ordered a week ago, and I am eagerly awaiting my tape in the mail. This review from Doomantia has upped my anticipation level:

Played with these cats, very interesting live, although it was apparent that they don't play out much, and they weren't all that tight as a result, they had a really cool vibe and aesthetic to their live show.

Also, very nice guys.

I was here, but I dis-appare. You can get it if you really want, but you must try, try and try, you succeed at last.

Ice Dragon...rather boring...

Dinger, although I very much enjoy Black Pyramid, I've seen you guys live and you're not the thightest band out there...this was especially noticed when you played before Blood Farmers who sound like they all have metronomes implanted in their brains.
