*In Paul Stanley voice* I said do you want pictures?! :P

The head is a rebuilt '82 JCM 800 2204 that was trashed. The guy before me put in (or his tech did) P2P wiring and Classictone transformers and rehoused in a ridiculously large Marshall-style box.

The cabinet is a Mojotone licensed Avatar 4x12 with a mix of hellatone 30's and 60's. Sounds pretty good with the 2204.

Practice rig.

The Epiphone Valve Jr. had a Eminence Alpha 8 speaker put in it before me, a mod called the JP1 and Mullard's, sounds pretty good. Microcrush does it's job when I need to be very quiet.

I am in love with the Earthquaker Monarch OD.

yea-up here in toronto they're not too hard to find at all. i mean they were/are made here and craigslist is full of old traynor heads. I actually bought mine off a guy who buys old ones that need repairs and resells them. and he is now my amp tech. Sunn heads though are a different story altogether-pretty rare in these parts. i'mlucky to have found one for the price ipaid for it.

Danny G FTW

I played this rig last night at Antone's, family reunion of sorts. Middle cab is the house Dietz 2x15 for Antone's. I have used it every time I play there, and have fallen in love with it. Rumoured to have belonged to Tommy Shannon.

On the left is my custom Mergilli Innovations replica based on the aforementioned Dietz's specs and loaded with period correct EV-B's. This cab among the last of its kind, as Mergilli is scaling back his amp/cab business.

Cab on the right is my newest aquisition. Found it on Craigslist, showed link to Eric Tessmer and he bought it to harvest the speakers (just blew the EV in his Vibroking). He then sells me the empty cab for $100. Which I then load with budget Eminence Delta 15's.

Heads are my trusty mid-70's SVT and a Fender TB-600 which is reliable as hell but not so much on tone.

Middle cab was not hooked up and strictly for looks!

Yes. Renting. And also preparing myself for disappointment.

Hopefully the airline won't lose my bass again.

Will finally get to A/B the cabs w/my SVT tonight at our residency gig. Can't wait to see the looks on the faces of the staff when I wheel 2 2x15's into there. Used the recently acquired Dietz Satu night and it sounded a little sterile. Methinks the Emi's vs. the EV's is to blame. But Eric also threorizes that my replica Dietz will also sound better than the real deal. But I don't feel like swapping speakers in them just yet.

dogfood I am literally lost for words at the sight of that ad, I honestly do not know what to think but its made me look at my guitar in a new light!

got this recently, I cant be 100% sure of the ohmage, there are 1528's out there that are 4ohms and 8ohms, but going by countless pics/threads iv scrutinised im pretty sure its 8ohms, anyone know how I can make sure? I guess I have to open it up or contact trace elliot...

Image

gonna use it with the 1x18...
Image

to be honest we've been trying to sell it because we're broke (and it absufuckinglutlely kills me on the stairs) but it wont sell, and now we've become a two peice so the lone guitar needs more power now!

Just plug in a speaker cable, take a multi-meter in the "200 ohm" range, touch the red lead to the tip of the jack, and the black to the ground. It'll give you a ballpark ohm load. Just round it.

Rather good vietnamese SG copy. I don't own any amp at the moment, so my Boss FZ-5 copy (by behringer :/) is useless. When we finally start practicing with our band, I'll use my friend's amp (60s' vermona regent) and cab (in fact, it's a 70s solid state amp, but who cares)

Gibson Flying V '67 Reissue w/ Seymour Duncan Tom Delonge Signature Invader pickups.

Image
Schecter Diamond Series PT Elite Telecaster w/ Gibson 500T (Bridge) and 469R (Neck) pick ups.

Image
Yamaha '80 SG800S. All original hardware. My number one live.

Image
Fender CE-300 Acoustic/Electric.

Image
Laney GH50L, Randall RH100 and Soldano Hotrod 50+.

Image
Upper - Boss TU-2, Boss BF-2, Boss DD-3, Boss RV-2, Boss NS-2, MXR Phase 90, Morley A/B Switch.
Lower - Jim Dunlop Crybaby Wah, Roger Mayer Stone Fuzz and Rocktron Big Crush Compressor.

Image
Current pedal board. Boss TU-2 (soon to be replaced by a Korg Pitchblack), Boss DD-3, Boss BF-2, Boss RV-2, MXR Phase 90 and Morley Bad Horsie Wah. All mounted on a Pedaltrain board with my BBE Supacharger power supply attached underneath. Neater pedal boards, no one has them.

My live/rehearsal amp rig is Soldano through a stock Marshall 1960A cabinet. Thinking about A/B'ing my Soldano and Laney but don't know if I can really be fucked lugging all that gear to shows.

Soz about the gay effect on the photos, cbf taking new pics.

Hey Ryan, I scored my Univox here in Vancouver too for $450. It's 105W B series U-1011.
Near mint. I love it!
