 Post subject: REviews vs. classic reviews

Whats the deviding line? Date of issue? For classics is there a quality issue? It's labor intensive but I think I'm gonna follow up on the "beaster" review style and do'm track by track with stuff thats in the 9-10 range. I did one for "not fragile" which I broke out "Popoff" style- rating heaviness and quality separately. It was an important review and revitalized their career.

As far as classics go how many "meh" tracks can a tape have? How much of classicism is linked to the time and place and how much is eternal? How "important" can something be and still have flaws? Can I have a beer yet ?

Reviews – current releases and/or releases directly related to the genre

Class reviews – greats from the 60s, 70s, 80s, along with cornerstone albums.

I suppose this forum has more capabilities from moving a thread from one forum to the next.

I would've placed Winter 'Into Darkness' in classic reviews due to its age, but that's just me.
