Nice! Is that Goldtop w/the P90's an Epiphone? I've got a line on one for about $300, wondering if it's worth taking the plunge.

Yeah, it's an Epi. It plays and sounds very smooth. If you like P90's, it's perfect. I paid $499 new from Musicians Friend. If you got a line on one for 3 bills, you should do it.

Nice! It doesn't get much more stoner rock than your amp setup! Good pedalboard, too....nice blend of boutique and more common pedals.

Here's mine: alot of the pedals are modded by me, and I do my own amp and guitar mods (pickup changes, wired for parallel/ series switching), too. Some of this stuff was just moreso about being in the right place at the right time in used gear stores.....things i'll never see again. The pedalboard....wiring that bastard was almost like an art in itself (turning pedals a certain way to get jacks and power supply jacks to line up, etc).

Sold the top amp which was a 50 watt home made job from the 70's. The next down is a Thor 120 watt valve amp from the 70's. About 200 exist from what i can find out. It's crazy loud. Its a 70's Sound City cab

This is kinda old. The acoustic and red electric are long gone. I traded up the acoustic for a Taylor and the Schecter I sold and picked up a late 90's / early 00's Japanese Ibanez.

I also have a 7 string Agile:

My first post here!

Posted this pic on stonerrocklives.com as well.

Dusted off the SVT to hopefully get some more mileage out of the damaged speakers in the new run Fender Bassman 410 (on it's way out, seems me and 10's don't get along). Rack to the side houses a power conditioner, wireless unit, and Fender TB-600 head. Bass is Minnie Pearl, my "new" 2000 USA Fender P-bass

That's quite the setup you have too! Nice! I hear you on the wiring aspect. It certainly is an art form.

P.S. Glad to see some posts on here again. Almost like home.

Cate Blanchett was recovered safe and sound. Here she is with Minnie, now sporting the original cream pickguard. Just used her Saturday night and she played like a dream (as does the new addition).

Thanks! I should point out that i've been playing for 15 years, and it's taken alot of time scouring used gear stores and in alot of cases, plunking down the plastic for something that technicaly you can't afford at the time. It's weird though, there's less and less old esoteric gear coming up, and less deals on those types of things.

It's a guitar amp, but it can be used with bass, mainly because it has so much clean headroom. It's from '71.....saw it in a used music store and picked it up. Still had the sticker on it from where it was sold--"Kelly's Soundhouse, Vancouver BC". It's in bizarrely mint (well, just a shade from mint), like someone never played it for 40 years. It still had the original GE powertubes and the Mullard preamp tubes. The cab is next to impossible to find....the head occasionally comes up, but to find the matching set in this condition, there's not too many of 'em around. I've never seen a U2080 cab sold online, anywhere, anytime.

That is a Ampeg Scrambler clone made by Brad Creepy Fingers. He made it for me special because I was trying to get a Grand Funk style octave/fuzz sound. He actually wound up modding it for me for free too and put a gain stage in it so it kicks up the volume a notch. I believe he sells them now as the Pink Elephant Fuzz, but the gain has a pot that you can adjust on the outside. Wicked pedal...Gets some raaaaauuuunchy sounds. Also, if you turn the octave and fuzz all the way down it works as a really nice lead boost.

Rickenbacker 4003, TU-2, Small Stone, (not pictured modded bassballs) Russian Big muff all thru an early 70's Acoustic b230 and an 82-87 (closest I've been able to pin it down) Ampeg 810E (some bullshit design with 2 horns in it, they are disabled)

am currently also working on the electronics of my p-bass. only original thing on it is the body and bridge, neck is warmoth, have a quarter pounder on the way. did the paintjob on the pickguard a coupla months back.

Indeed, JoJo. Very nice stuff.

One of these days I'll get some snaps of my bands gear up here. I still don't have a good photo of my shaggy 4x12 that was previously owned by FOGHAT.
