T&GLP#4 One "Holy Shit!" moment after another. Remember seeing the LP in the bins back in the day and freaking out at the name & cover art. Music inside is just as powerful and stunning. Glad i finally came across this NM- original. |

Such a cornerstone album - and one that doesn't get the respect it deserves. It was wildly prescient for where metal, punk and hardcore were going. My first printing copy got "absorbed" into a friend's record collection when I left a crate of records behind in Atlanta. Alas, I wish I had it still.. |

Cool. Was originally turned on by a friend's LP back in the day. Same dood who turned me onto DK, Surfers, Suicidal, Black Flag, JFA, MDC, Rites of Spring and a few other's i'm forgetting. San Antonio had a healthy Hardcore scene in the mid-80's. We met in Sophomore Chess Club. Last i heard he's some genius software developer worth millions. Fucker. Smarter, better chess player and better taste then and now. :( |

I traded for mine witha friend's older brother. He got the 76% Uncertain record. I got Die Kreuzen. He thought he made out. I think time has proved him wrong. |

Loved their 1st two albums back in the day...especially the S/T. "Man In The Trees", "In School", "Rumors" were punk rock staples...absolute classics. "Pain/Sick People" and "Melt" are just great rock songs. After that, they lost me with Century Days. I remember being so excited to get it back then, then being so let down. I still listen to those 1st two pretty regularly...along with Negative Approach, Minor Threat, Septic Death, Agnostic Front, early TSOL and all the rest... |
