Here Side2 edges out Side1 due mostly to the "Phantom Lord"/"No Remorse"/"Seek & Destroy" triple shot combination. Side1's "The Four Horsemen" best track though. For me 1983 is Year Zero for modern Heavy Metal and this LP is a major reason why. Essential stuff.

Rad \m/ :)

That copy must cost alot considering it is original. Does it have 'Am I Evil' on it? I had an old Elektra cassette that had the extra bonus tracks. I just got two brand new turntables myself and have been collecting every Sabbath vinyl ever made.

Anyways Kill Em'All is indeed a classic. Cliff Burton is still relevant despite Metallica having tainted their own legacy with bad albums, and douchey career moves. They may have soiled their own rep by "selling out",but at least the first four are still untouchable sacred texts of metal.

Anesthesia(Pulling Teeth) is my favorite song off this record!

Despite the hate, Lars' drumming on the first four is actually very decent, not mindblowing on a Dave Lombardo type level, but good enough to carry the songs. This finds them at their most raw and punk.

R.I.P. Cliff Burton!

No "Am I Evil" on the vinyl. The early repressings of the CD had that and a few Garage Days, Etc. tracks tagged on the end. Wish i'd held onto mine. It went with one of many "Mehtal purges." Glad that's over!!
My LP wasn't that expensive. Can't think of anything better to spend my entertainment dollars on.

I recently saw an original RTL vinyl copy go for over 100 bucks on eBay! So that's why I assume you paid alot for that. How much did you pay btw if you don't mind me asking?

Original pressing I inherited from my older brothers collection. The good old days. I think it's time for a Raven thread ;)

I paid over a Benji for my RtL. A lil over 50 for my KeA. It all comes out in the wash.
And do i wish i'd never parted with my original High School record collection? Erm, yes!
Have rebought just about everything worth rebuying now. My taste back then was a bit shit, tbh.

I just remembered now my father hated this album cover when he saw me holding the tape one day LOL He thought the cover art for Kill Em' All was "Satanic" and used to warn me about that when it comes to listening to metal. Still listened to this regardless.

I'd love to get Master of Puppets on vinyl. Also find original WB Sabbath vinyl to be really cheap, unless you're planning to get Master of Reality with the poster. I'll post pics of my Sabbath vinyl soon.

Heh. Parents. I think mine didn't mind that i was such a headphones on constantly music nerd. It was easy for them. The Mercyful Fate and Venom records did raise a few eyebrows, but they were pretty liberal minded and/or drunk glued to the TV most of the time.

The green WB's are all good quality pressings. I passed on a NM- Vertigo Black Sabbath-s/t for $50 that just came as a used buy into a store i was at. Still kickin' myself a lil bit for that. Cuz that was a deal.

Yes. Post yer vinyl Audio Porn!
