Bookends the 60's "Swinging London" era and somehow encapsulates it perfectly. A showcase for the "British Invasion" slash Rave-Up slash blue-eyed R 'n B slash Chess Chicago Blues inspired styled axe work of masters Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Plus the rapid-fire feet of John Bonham ever present as well. If this had come out in 1966, it'd be hailed as a classic. It was born 4 years too late. Still a must for fans of the Yardbirds and early Led Zep.
Bottom line: Austin Powers made a record in 1970. This LP is alot of fun.
