proto-Stoner. proto-Heavy Metal. Cpt. Beefheart inspired vox. Killer freak music from 1969. Smoke a fat bowl first. Even though the original USA vinyl pressing is mastered a bit flat, it's still better than the 1992 reissue CD. Easy. |

I think this album is directly where the new band 'Electric Citizen' came from. They worship EBB unabashedly. Plus points for nailing the Sabbath - Paranoid video set! |

I read that they actually had a chart hit in Britain with a medley/mash ? Of Beefhearts "drop dead boogie" and a Hank Marvin tune....shotgun me be? True or someone joshing? |
