Have you heard of the band Womb???





Imo that's the heaviest song from 1969 that I've heard so far. That doomy riff predates Sabbath. They released 2 albums in '69. From what I've heard so far they're really heavy!

2010 Esoteric ECLEC2204 remastered and expanded CD is worth checking out too. 5 bonus tracks of similar cloth clocking in well over 30 minutes. An essential purchase for vintage Heavy heads.
