An ex-Yardbirds, Steamhammer & Captain Beyond super group. Very kick ass Heavy Prog that gets better and better with repeated listens. Too bad it was a one off.

I agree. When I first heard "Silver Tightrope" I was like "this is the dude from the Yardbirds?". It's a long way from "Smokestack Lightning".

Good stuff! I saw this in a vinyl bin at an outdoor tag sale (individual vendor tents) and didn't pull the trigger ;( I hope I find that dude again.

Sadder story--I bought this one on vinyl at a Half-Price years ago, and when I made the final move from my college renthouse, it became lost with a big stack of albums. They've ended up in purgatory, somewhere in my folks' house. I'm praying every day this stack of albums isn't in the attic, melting away.

"Buzzard" kicks ass, it's a hornet's nest of wah-pedal frenzy, and there are some massive, echoing power chords later in the song. I'm also a huge fan of the riff in "Paths and Planes and Future Gains"
