Like Nihilist, Nirvana was a Swedish death metal band that never made it past the demo stage. Unfortunately, due to the rise in popularity of a band from Seattle Washington, they added the "2002" to their name.
Fans of Nihilist, Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Unleashed, etc, should pick this up. In my opinion, this material is right up there with the best of the demos from that period. Sure, some of them are pretty rough, but they've been remixed, remastered, touched up etc, and the best material sounds pretty decent. These guys had the sound, they had the riffs, they had a damned good death metal vocalist, they just never made that elusive first album...
