You gotta love Welcome to Hell by Venom. I give it five stars because I haven't heard anything else like it. Evil punks in love with heavy metal is what it sounds like to me. In a cavern, worshiping the Devil, of course.

Welcome To Hell is definitely my favorite Venom tape. I love Black Metal, too, but WTH is just such a big musical fuck yous to everything.

I love the first three, but Welcome to Hell is the sickest by far.

Anyway this got me thinking about Venom and watching old videos and interviews on youtube, and I came across this Jeff Dunn (Mantas) interview from 2010.

Thanks for that. Yeah, I can hear the Priest in their first album. Probably part of the reason I like it so much.

Mantas looks pretty good for his age. Cronos always said that when he met Mantas, he was playing the part of KK Downing in a Judas Priest cover band.
