Okay, this is some fucking cult shit for you. Know how Electric Wizard used a sample from "The Wizard Of Gore" on that live track on the reissue of the Supercoven EP? Well, Impetigo had already done that, and they'd done it better...

Impetigo had actually been around a bit at this point, first playing fairly brutal hardcore, which soon led to grind, but for me, they hit their stride with this album, when they'd gone full out death metal.

Sure, it's sloppy, the production is rough, but that's half the charm, and with riffs like these, who the fuck cares? This gore/horror movie themed album is fucking perfect, with the awesome samples, and the sick and sometimes pitch shifted vocals. "Wizard Of Gore" is perhaps the catchiest death metal tune I've ever heard, right up there with Cannibal Corpse's "I Cum Blood" or Death's "Pull The Plug."

Good shit right there. Ultimo Mondo Cannibale is a grind classic.

Yeah, that's a good goregrind album, but like I said, I like it when they switched to balls out DM.
