Mighty fine heavy blues rock from this Uruguayan power trio. The band was formed after the break-up of Opus Alfa in 1972. Consisting of drummer Jorge Graf, vocalist and bassist Jorge Barral they were then joined by the guitarist and vocalist Daniel Bertolone. Most of the songs are of heavy blues except for "Dame Tu Sonrisa Loco" and "Esto Es Nuestro," which sound like psych folk pieces sort of. Their style of heavy blues rock was influenced by Cream and JHE much more raw than Cream though. The original LP by De la Planta label is very rare but the CD/LP of the album was released back in 2000 by Italian label Akarma with an alternate cover.

This just might be my favorite heavy blues album to come out of Latin America.

Yes, great Blues Rock from South America. If you like this, then Pappo's Blues is a mandatory listen.

Yeah man, Pappo's Blues, Color Humano, Pescado Rabioso, Vox Dei, etc. all good stuff. Have you seen the music festival film/documentary Rock Hasta Que Se Ponga El Sol it's really cool as it has performances by some of these Argentine bands found it on Amazon. Shame it was only one hour long.
