I had some $ burning a hole in my pocket a while back and was eyeballing a Ceriatone Superlead hunnerd watter. Even posted about it on the defunct site. Well, I did not pull the trigger on that or any other Super Lead clone. Pisses me off and I will get my paws on one sooner or later. I, however, am spending that very same $ on a for real live house, a fucking house. And, it has an addition-with high ceilings, 20x20-ish, with a shitter, and a kitchenette. I think they used it to hole up a Mother in law or something. I am already planning how make this gem a studio. Yes, no more practicing in a $200/month room here in Dallas. Fuck Universal Rehearsals! AND, my old drummer just moved back into town. AND, Pristak's may very well move his DAW into the room. AND, new singer, may or may not work out we shall see. I am hoping to make a full blown recording room out of it with a control room and everything. Pic will be posted, none of that teasing shit. If I go down to studs and build it back up you will see all the horrid details. The future is so bright...

Thanks,

The whole home buying process in my case is lengthy due to the home being owned by HUD. It's dragging out but the end is finally in sight. Porkchop, my drummer, is a bona fide chef and not only are we writing a song called Pork Butt with the lyrics being the recipe for his BBQ pork shoulder plate but there will be a smoker on site for the first band practice/BBQ fixing above mentioned plate. Corn bread, potato salad, some kind of Texas-hot-as-all-fuck beans, and this amazing drink called...beer!

I just paid a visit to my future house. The music lounge (which needs to be named, suggestions anyone?) is approx 15 x 20. Plenty of room. I want to move everyone in asap and I want to do the improvements to the room asap. can't think of how to do both at once. I've got to get sketchup and design this shit out. Been over to John L Sayers poking around a bit and looking at their designs.

Lounge-y but not sleazy enough for my discerning taste.
