Boy I sure would like to have someone ask Oli Foxxen to register over here and stop by. If we get all tube-y, he is da man. I have a general idea of how tube amps work, but not the real life details/experience of real life tubes and tube circuits. So I can help tech tube amps, but not so much with the "to get this effect, do this" kind of stuff. Theory oriented stuff: bring it. I'm a retired automation engineer(electrical) and I have a fairly decent view of the big picture. Some of the husky boys and merlot bro are in the industry too. kind of a small sample, but it shows that NC is all about the tech, heh. |
