I wanted to post this to demonstrate the Zoom Q3 (not HD) camera. We used it to record our last show and I am very impressed by this little hand held that costs less than $200. No distortion at all, and dirt simple to use. These clips were all recorded with the Q3 with the audio at 256kbps, it was positioned in front of the PA, so pretty much all the sound you are hearing is from the stage volume. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Very cool. I have a Zoom H2 (4 mics, only audio) which is excellent. I used to use a Kodak Playtouch which had decent video capability and the audio was decent too, not as good as the Zoom, but it just randomly froze and stopped working around the time Kodak filed for bankruptcy. I think I should look at a Zoom HD device. |

yeah the HD version has the same audio quality but will handle low lit stages much better. It all depends on what you want to do. |
