Very popular among Entwistle and Noel Redding in the late 60's. I'm still a bit confused as to how you can play bass through a guitar amp/cab, but I guess that's how they did it back in the day (there was no "bass amp").
I've got a p bass with the (cloth jacketed) vintage '62 split coil pup and was really thinking about pulling the trigger on this cab

(why are Sound City cabs sometimes badged as Hiwatt?)

All those youtube vids I've seen (golden era late 60's/early 70's bassists) seem to back up this philosophy, be it the recorded album, or a live setting - sealed 4x12"s and guitar amp.
I have an SVT tube amp, but I don't know if it's such a good idea to run that through this cab?
