I finally started throwing up some of my own rough stuff onto soundcloud woo! thanks to Ryan and Presonus ;) this is just for random stuff of mine, hopefully I'll get some of my other bands stuff up and around soon, right now im working on 'The Exhalation of Piled up Corpses' psychy long jam stuff, 'Grievous Molestation' a punky black doom metal thing which im psyched to be doing vocals on! and 'Coltsblood' which is an extremely slow progress but love of mine :) http://soundcloud.com/blackdestrier |

Hey Jem. We have attempted to try and get started working on a new record several times over the last two years... it just seems like coordinating with everyone never seems to work out - unfortunately. I guess we'll keep trying - i know the material is there... its just a matter of everyone getting on the same page. |

I tend to lurk mostly on this forum because there aren't that many regular posts but my band finally recorded in a real studio and I know some of you guys/gals would probably like it. Was pretty happy with the way it turned out sadly it looks like the big fight at the end of the recording session mighta killed the band (too early to tell really) which totally sucks the three songs we finished sound pretty cool. http://desertearth.bandcamp.com/album/san-pedro-demo-version |

Finally put a Soundcloud up just now for my new band/joint music project entitled DROWSY NURSE ... These newly recorded tracks feature me ,Isabella Acuña, on lead guitars and Bruno DeSmartass(ex-Sluglords and Flipper)on bass and Jeremy Krupp on drums. http://soundcloud.com/drowsy-nurse Just jammed these out for fun last month and got them down on tape. And yes that is thee Bruno of Flipper fame on bass. He was a member of Flipper since '83(replacing Shatter the first time) and toured with them in '06(who was replaced by Krist Novoselic mid-tour). I play lead guitar and my friend Jeremy Krupp(subtituting for Ben James/Franksnbeans who injured his arm recently) plays drums on this rehearsal jam that occured a month ago at Lennon Music Studios here in SF,CA. We had been jamming for a few months.Looking for more musicians to collaborate soon. It's been an honor writing new songs with a bass legend(you can even hear Bruno shouting "1,2,3,4!!!"old school style before takes!). Was alot of fun hearing about old Flipper tour stories during the recording. Will probably add more sounds such as extra vocals to these tracks when I have the time,but I like them the way they are now as instrumentals too. Will be adding some more tracks and pics to my profile soon also.I think the other tracks I haven't uploaded yet are the best ones,but these are cool to start with. Please enjoy and turn it up! |
