Les Godfrey is a buddy of mine and is honestly one of the coolest, most down to earth people i've ever met. He gave me the guitar on the left in my profile pic just because i said i love the shape of rickenbacker bass bodies. so he goes ,"hold on a sec", runs to his closet and pulls out this guitar, hands it to me and is says, "here dude, you can have it". like who does that man?! it was a bit dirty and needed some tlc and some repairs to the electronics but i play it all the time now and it's a sweet guitar.
besides being a freak of a guitar player, luthier, kung-fu practicioner- he's an awesome dude as well. happy to hear he's still playing.
Yeah they were all pretty cool. Hopefully Djanguar sticks around for a while. They will soon be joining us on Meatlocker Records.
