so i'm picking one of these up on saturday for 500$ canadian. mint condition, new tubes. having a hard time finding info online. anyone ever own/play these things? take pedals well? who am i kidding-it's a sunn.

i was a bit worried about how it might sound with a strat but i was totally surprised as soon as i started playing. very warm and not too trebly at all. i'm sure the cab helped too, an old traynor 9x8 cab (yes,9 -8" speakers). and the pedals sound great going through it too-but the real test will be how it sounds in the room.

damn- i love old, simple amps.

yea i know. no scuffs or tears on the tolex, brand new sovtek tubes- and everything works! for once craigslist was nice to me.
