This is such a handy thing to have. We recorded this yesterday. Kept it on a mic stand in the middle of the room and hit record.

Also: This is one of my band's tunes we're going to be debuting this weekend. Lots of riffs!

I'll bet your bass player likes it. He's all over the mix. All hail the bass player.

Yeah, the bass is loud and clear. It seems that bass is the first thing to get lost in recordings.

That's a very clear recording. I'm guessing that you guys are not super cranked up loud. Cool stuff. I like it.

How is the Zoom H2 different from the H1?

The h1 is a single stereo track and thats all you get there is no way to overdub. The H2 is 2 tracks so overdubbing is a possibility it has more controls and adjustments.

Wow and the H2 is less than 100 bucks. That seems like a deal.

Yeah man, H2 is very bang-for-the-buck. I got myself an additional 4GB SD card which means I can record 3-4 hours worth material. Enough to record our stuff every week and cut some of that out and call them "live demos". We put these out after we play a show, when lots of new people are "like"ing us on Facebook. We did this last week.

Guitars are not as clear as I'd like them to be and are a bit softer than the drums, but it's groovy and serviceable.

The best investment I made for the band, in my opinion.
