Tried this out on another forum and it didn't stick so I thought this might be a better venue for it.

So...post a random jam that you happened to have recorded.

One rule, it needs to be unplanned and unrehearsed. Let's see whatcha got!

I'll start things off with this "gem" from our last rehearsal and see if this thread catches on...

Before Black Pyramid, Blue Aside, and HydroElectric, there was Palace In Thunderland.

Here is a jam we did in the studio called
"Phantasmagoric Armageddon Part 3"

Here is one that I posted before in a thread about recording:

http://soundcloud.com/moonstation-burni ... am-10-2-10

It starts out a little slow, you know, as these things tend to, but it picks up steam.

Tascam DR-07 in the center of the room.

This is a stupid video for a jam that was turned into a song... sort of.

We started off just recording a random jam, and on one 4th of july, I locked myself in my basement, ate an 8th of mushrooms, and overdubbed xtra guitar parts, vox, and bass.

It's called Medicated Life

Hey fun. Man you guys got some good quality recordings and some good jams.
Here's one I like. Just me and my current drummer who is a long time friend who I've played in several other bands with but lost touch with for about 10 or 12 years. This is the first time we were in a room together to jam so I recorded it.

I went kinda small with just my Sunn 2000s a 4x12 and a 2x15. Set up my Zoom H4, we smoked a doob and let er rip.

This band we did for a while was all improvised, we used to have a jam now again in the studio then do gigs. Recorded a few jams and some video.

I like it!

Wish I could get a tone like that out of a jazz bass....
