NEW items in the distro @ https://chromepeelerrecords.bandcamp.com/merch

21 Trillion - "21,000,000,000,000" CD
Instrumental melodic post-rock moves and cool rhythmic interplay delivering the kinds of uber-infectious hooks we love from early 90's indie rock winding workouts, while still delivering engaging, intricate tunes. RIYL: Kinski, Codeine

AETHERIUS OBSCURITAS – “A sors szürke pora” CD
Epic, pounding, venomous pagan Black Metal from Hungary. The vocals are relentlessly crazed, coming for your throat with no holds barred, and the music reaches a zenith of attacking adventurousness which, somehow, is simultaneously mind-mangling and enthralling. Strongly recommended for fans of Ragnarok, Satyricon, Taake and Mgła.

A FINE BOAT THAT COFFIN - "Morse Zeichen" CD
Primo weirdo German avant-grind cacophonic, jazz-damaged blastcore! Each song is stiched from impossibly complex shredding, eerie samples, insanely technical song arrangements, high pitch shrieking vocals, monstrous slow-motion doom, and seething dissonant riffs that recall the ferocious sounds of bands like Acme and Morser. Dark, proggy, immensely heavy and chaotic.

BALD EAGLE - "Hot Shoulders" CD
Aggressive, yet melodic and spastic post-hardcore, bringing to mind the burly guitar acrobatics of Drive Like Jehu and Rye Coalition, while maintaining a jittery intensity, like that of Nation of Ulysses.

BALD EAGLE - "Bacon and Eggs, Dear" CD
Exceptional merging of post-hardcore, mathcore, noise rock, psychedelia and heavy metal elements sounding like Hot Snakes/Jesus Lizard meets Thin Lizzy duelling guitars!

DIMENTIANON - “Dreaming Yuggoth" CD
This album is epic. A mixture of black / death metal and deathdoom with gloriously somber darkwave elements. Raw metal sounds with mournful keyboard textures. RIYL: Celtic Frost, Enslaved, My Dying Bride.

DIMENTIANON - “Chapter VI: Burning Rebirth” CD
A crusty, doom-laden black metal attack that’s studded with melodic keyboard and funeral flourishes. Mainstay vocalist M delivers his distinct rasp & growls with the combination of Joe Fogarazzo (Rigor Sardonicous) on guitars/bass, Don Zaros (Evoken) on keyboards and Matt Hass (Reluctant Mortem) on drums continuing to carve an interesting and unique path drenched in old school: creepy, majestic and bleak.

ROOT – “Madness of the Graves” CD
Root are legends of avant-garde black metal, part of the unique black metal scene that formed in Czechoslovakia in the latter half of the 1980s. Cut off from the rest of the European metal underground by the Iron Curtain, these bands evolved into their own weird species of blackened metal with the addition of effects, bizarre vocal performances and a strange occult atmosphere that was all their own. This album is the most weird and eclectic Root material to date with twisted soundscapes that travel from doomy riffs to thrashy, to atmospheric interludes and delicate melodies. A worthy album from a singular and iconoclastic band.

VRYKOLAKAS - “Nocturnal Dominion of Death” CD
Absolutely cavernous slimy muddy Death Metal that sounds like it belongs in the late ’80s. Combining the murkiness of early INCANTATION with DISMEMBER’s unfaltering sonic attack, its ruthlessly punishing and venomous, but also adventurous and frequently head-spinning with riffs that are pummeling workouts in aggression.
