The distro is located here: http://www.chromepeeler.blogspot.com/

RECENTLY ADDED TO DISTRO:
DRAIZE - "s/t" LP $11
Boston, MA locals Draize pump out a pulverizing brand of powerviolence and metal-influenced hardcore on this debut LP with 11 tracks of BOLT THROWER, NAPALM DEATH and CROSSED OUT influences galore.

KOWLOON WALLED CITY - "Turk Street" 10" (colored vinyl) $10
Fans of Unsane, Noothgrush, early Neurosis, The Melvins, Helmet, etc. should love this. It's straightforward, heavy sludge from San Francisco, the way it's supposed to be done. A potent mixture of monumental, crushing riffs; crusty, hardcore-tinged vocals; and deliberate, groove-oriented drumming. The production on Turk Street is fantastic-- sludgy and raw yet clear and crisp. LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, black/red swirl vinyl.

SAME-SEX DICTATOR - "From Beneath You It Devours" LP $12
Called everything from a "two-piece wall of destruction" to "deep space power-violence", Seattle, WA’s SAME-SEX DICTATOR have documented their psychedelic heaviness on their first full-length "From Beneath You It Devours", 41 minutes of dark, experimental hardcore that sounds like a mutant hybrid of MAN IS THE BASTARD and some cult early 80's heavy metal, one second battering your skull in with gnarly angular bass riffage, the next lurching into a quasi-gallop that drunkenly thrashes around for a minute or two before tumbling back into a swarm of chirping electronic noise, bestial death metal growls and jagged ultra-heavy bass. Featuring guest contributions by members of OAKHELM and EMERALDS.

THOU - "Baton Rouge, You Have Much To Answer For" cassette $8
Easily one of the most exciting modern sludge/doom bands going, THOU calls Louisiana home and have channeled lifetimes of depression & decay as the inspiration for "Baton Rouge, You Have Much To Answer For." Scathing commentary laid down by hateful blackened vocals is merged with some of the most crushing riffs conceived in ages. Incredibly deep tones and bludgeoning drumming are combined with a surprising amount of melody and years of honed songcraft to create a powerfully heavy release. Two pummeling tracks over 15 minutes span the A-side, while the B-side of equal length finds an instrumental drone piece along with a spectacular NIRVANA cover that puts a completely crushing take on the "Bleach"-era tune, ’Sifting.’ This cassette is limited to 200 copies and is one of THOU’s strongest releases yet.

THOU / MOLOCH - "Tears That Soak A Callous Heart" cassette $8
A clash of the titans concerning those who revel and relish in the slow and painful. THOU plays sludge, but refrains from having their surly sound approach doom territory. There is a difference; there’s absolutely no romanticism, elegance or aristocracy to Thou. They are purveyors of pure slimy sewer wall sludge and despite the molasses pace, Thou is surprisingly driving and, in turn, rather catchy. Moloch hammers the listener more from the feedback-abusing Eyehategod/Graves at Sea tip – Moloch don’t have the musical infectiousness of their counterparts, preferring more to beat you about the head and ears with a furious sledgehammer about the size of a distortion pedal and a Gibson SG. Pro-pressed cassettes with black ink on white shells. Limited to 300.

WORSHIP - "Last Vinyl Before Doomsday" LP $13
Tenth anniversary re-issue of this cult doom/death classic, the ultimate in Suicide Doom. Worship are a painfully slow and crushing doom band from Munich. This isn't doom in the Pentagram/Sabbath vein, this is deconstructed molasses drone funeral dooooooooom. Bleak and unrelenting, Worship absolutely exudes misery and desperation, the point is driven home further by the fact that drummer/vocalist, Mad Max, took his own life while vacationing in Quebec in 2001. His parents, convinced that this depressing music must have contributed to their son's undoing, subsequently destroyed his record collection and personal affects. Limited to 666 copies.
