Last but not least: ahem, KICKSTARTER. We've swallowed some pride and decided to give the Kickstarter website service a try, in attempts to raise $2000 to release the debut album by TILTS. It's been live for a little over a week now and we have to admit, we're pleasantly surprised and kind of amazed with the supportive response thus far!


TILTS is is an American rock band with our longtime bro Andrew Elstner (formerly of RIDDLE OF STEEL, currently of TORCHE) on vocals and guitar. He and three amigos comprise this awesome St. Louis, Missouri band, and we're hoping to release their first recordings on both vinyl and digital download.

There you can see the (kinda goofy) promo video we assembled for this thing, which is basically an audio/video medley of the material that will make up this LP. There's also three unmastered preview tracks posted there so you can hear some of the songs in full.

Although we've done pretty well with the Kickstarter fundraising as of writing this, it actually won't cover the full costs of manufacturing this beast. We figured if we can raise at least 2k, that'll be enough to push this into production... but if we can really get closer to 3k we'll actually be able to pay for the entire thing up front!

It's basically set up as an "elaborate pre-order" in the sense that everyone who pledges money towards our Kickstarter actually gets the full album at the bare minimum. For those who're inclined to drop extra bones, there's the options of getting an exclusive t-shirt, exclusive hoodie, beer coozie, stickers, customized test presses, a personal photo actually included into the album artwork and for the true ballers: a private performance from TILTS themselves.

So yeah, it's possibly a little corny but to be honest, this album may not have happened without Kickstarter so we're officially excited to be using this method for pre-ordering the release, and hope you'll please check it out (and/or spread the word!):
