Shaman's Visions by Ethereal Riffian From Kiev, Ukraine comes this troupe of heavy psychonauts. This is quite amazing stuff if it's a debut. The right tone, the right sound, lotsa dynamics but a deep, deep sense of wandering voyage inherited, probably, from the Huns that once raided their lands. Nomadic is a word that suits this but heavy too. Rarely they break out in solid stoner groove, but they do and it rocks. Most of the time they plod through and try to embalm your brain with eastern tinged essence of pure doom. The bandname, however silly, is actually very apropriate and what's in the third eye of the shaman is worth beholding.
