Backwoods Payback

After touring the country relentlessly for 5 years, the singer of a Pennsylvania hardcore band decided to stop everything, lock himself in his basement and turn a new page. Armed with a 4 track and a life-long obsession with Neil Young, Black Flag and (of course) Sabbath, he re-emerged two days later with the blueprint of what would become Backwoods Payback. With the help of a few like-minded individuals the band went from the blueprint stage to a fully operational Death Star of iffage before the end of that year. Staying true to the D.I.Y. sensibilities of their past, Backwoods Payback started touring the country, recording and self -releasing EPs and full-length albums, as well as acting as hosts and goodwill ambassadors of sorts to touring bands from all over the world. Spreading the word one song, one town, one person at a time, the band wouldn’t stop. Small shows led to bigger shows. Weekend tours turned into month-long jaunts. And after a few years and countless trips crisscrossing the country the dudes and gal found themselves sharing the stage with everyone from The idden Hand and Exodous to Gwar and Cradle Of Filth, kicking ass and taking names the whole way. It's been a long and wild journey so far but the best and loudest is surely yet to come. In the spring of 2011 Backwoods Payback will release their first full-length for Small Stone Recordings and hit the road with the machine behind them for the first time in their lives. These Backwoods folks aren’t forming an army; they’re building a family. All the while staying true to their motto...drop out to live.

Black Thai

Black Thai was formed in 2009 by friends Jim Healey (We're All Gonna Die) and Scotty Fuse (Cortez). After many drunken late night conversations about music, the two decided it would be a good idea to start a band without any expectations or pressure. Just for the pure fun of having a few beers and playing loud rock. A return to simpler times. The two enlisted bassist Cory Cocomozzi to handle the low end. Jeremy Hemond assumed control of the drum throne and Black Thai was born.

Boss 302

BOSS 302 IS A 3-PIECE HARD ROCK BAND FROM SOUTH JERSEY SIGNED TO TOIL RECORDS OUT OF PHILADELPHIA. WITH BROTHERS LARRY LERRO AS THE BASSIST AND LEAD SINGER MIKE AS THE DRUMMER, THEY MAKE UP A MACHINE-TIGHT RHYTHM SECTION. JOHN MODUGNO COMPLETES THE SOLID FOUNDATION OF THE BAND AS LEAD GUITARIST AND VOCALIST. BOSS 302'S INFLUENCES RANGE FROM THE SLOW & HEAVY RIFFS OF BLACK SABBATH & KYUSS, THE INTENSITY OF MOTORHEAD, TO THE "STONER ROCK" GROOVES OF QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE & FU MANCHU. THEIR NO-COMPROMISE APPROACH FROM THE BEGINNING HAS LED THEM TO BE A TRUE, AUTHENTIC HARD ROCK BAND. BOSS 302 IS CURRENTLY IN THE STUDIO RECORDING THEIR DEBUT CD WHICH WILL BE RELEASED IN SEPTEMBER 2010. ONE OF THE BAND'S REAL STRENGTHS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ITS LIVE SHOWS. BE SURE TO LOOK OUT FOR UPCOMING DATES.
