Have any of you seen a show at Santo's Party House? I haven't, but have heard varying reports about the sound.

I've been to shows upstairs and downstairs... the sound has been ok- not great, not bad. Downstairs, it's the standard "too many stacks per square foot" thing which is common in small bars. Upstairs is more the size of the Bowery (probably a little smaller, though), but the sound is not on par with the Bowery. I suggest- stand up front and get the sound from the cabinets, and screw the PA.

Shit, I've been wanting to see Clamfight, but I already have plans Sat night (The Brought Low). Depending on set times, I'm gonna try and make it, anyway.

Ron, can't fault you for choosing The Brought Low, I caught them with Maegashira and Kings Destroy recently and was blown away.

Greenskeeper, thanks for the kind words. I can say that Clamfight will cutting back on shows for a few months to work on new material so if you want to catch some Volume I songs, this is the show to attend.

Brought Low plays @ 10:00 pm tomorrow night though wouldn't be surprised if that time is not set in stone. I would get there by 9:45 to be safe.

Also, the show is FREE!!!!!

Also playing are The A-Bones (long running garage rock band), The Black Hollies (X-Rye Coalition doing a Yardbirds mod thing) and The Above (also on the mod freakbeat tip). Weird bill for us though all the other bands are really good especially Black Hollies.

There will also be DJ's and whatnot and did I mention it's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sat 2/19 Battle for Wyoming @ Hanks!

They rarely play out anymore, so you should definitely go out of your way for this.
Seriously, these guys are good, if you like heavy stuff (Elvis '77, Unsane, Rebreather, etc.)

On that Weedeater show, is it now Zoroaster AND Naam or Naam instead of Zoroaster?
