Since some of you might want to get your ducks in a row to travel: Agalloch, YOB, and Ufomammut will be playing together in Eugene at WOW Hall on 6/5. https://www.facebook.com/events/978362155507701/

Or if you're stuck in Portland, Ufomammut still has their Rotture date with Usnea, YOB has their show at Stumpfest, and Agalloch plans to return to Portland at Star Theater 6/20.

3/26 Foggy Notion - Gaythiest, Full Creature, Grand Head

And The Skull (featuring members of Trouble and Pentagram) were added to our show on April 19th!

Updated.

I read something in Willamette Week(?) that The Tonic Lounge is going to be re-branded as The Panic Room. They apparently had an episode of Bar Rescue dedicated to them.

Am I the only one who thinks MusicfestNW really sucks now? Or am I missing where they list all the satellite venue lineups?

Yeah, it started sucking really bad last year. Hopefully there will be another Festicide though!

Project Pabst, Hoverfest, and Hesh Fest will more than adequately cover what MFNW is lacking. Add Festicide in the mix and some of our local black and death metal-ish things, plus every other night at The Know or wherever, and I'm fine. But yeah, MFNW has gotten very tame.

Hey, look at what I found just now: https://www.facebook.com/events/299451473578318/

A pretty good update. The last couple months of Summer are filling up nicely. It's weird saying that though, as it already feels like we're in August...

Psycroptic from Tasmania is playing Bossanova this coming Sunday night. Last time they made it over here was when Satyricon was shutting down on their Observant tour.

The spaces known as Branx and Rotture are closing for rock shows and being converted to a full-time gay dance club. The Sabbath Assembly show on Saturday will be the last rock/metal thing they host in the known future. The rest of their immediate rock/metal calendar is being moved to The Panic Room.

FYI.

Awesome. The Hawthorne folks have upped their game. Fu show seemed a much improved venue (sound/layout/vibe) than i remembered. Will be attending the Goatsnake set.

Acid King delivered. Got 86'ed from Dante's for Rockin' Out too much during Yob's set, i guess.... (?!?) First time i've ever been kicked out of a club. What a laugh. It's like getting kicked out of a dance club for dancing too much. Really unfortunate over zealous Security pricks. I only had a few beers in me. Yes, they were typical over authoritarian macho rent-a-Cops with ear piece phones about it. A quick word with me would have worked just fine.

A FYI for the good people of Portland about Dante's Inferno. I will think twice about spending my cash there from now on.

Shit, man, I saw you get walked out. I didn't see anything worth them getting worked up about. WTF? I've been to much rowdier shows there, too. Bummer about the 86 as YOB was pretty dialed in. Great show.

Cheers, man. Next time you see me, introduce yourself. I'll get the pints in. Maybe the Dante's Security Pricks didn't like my fake British accent?!? heh.
Watched the rest of the show from the door in the drizzle in tr00)) DOOOM style. Fuck 'em.
