The Scimitar's full-length debut "Doomsayer" will be available soon on vinyl via Hydro-Phonic Records, also home to Sheavy, Bongzilla, Olde Growth and more. Pre-orders will start in the next couple of weeks, at which time the full album will also be available on Bandcamp. The Scimitar consists of David Gein (bass) and Darryl Shepard (guitar, vocals) of Black Pyramid and Brian Banfield of Blood Stone Sacrifice on drums. Updates will be posted in this thread. Thank ya.

Post here when the album is released. I don't do pre-orders, but I'll buy it when it's out.
Otherwise, I'll never remember.
Thanks

The record looks great, I'm definitely gonna pick this one up and some others up from Travis when I see him in July...

Vinyl is now in at Hydro-Phonic to be ordered and pre-orders are shipping this week.

Website: http://hydro-phonicrecords.com/Hydro-St ... o1ccv8ba10

They also made a special super limited version, check it out...

"After a two week shipping delay, The Scimitar: Doomsayer LP will be boxed up and shipped out all this week! You all should have your Tracking Numbers by Friday.

Thought I'd take a moment first to share the extremely limited, handmade, Test Press Edition. Essentially I took Liz's original crosshatched skull artwork and reworked it down to more of a solid, simplistic look. The back covers were screen printed and hung up to dry. After drying the fun began! Because of my love of vintage black-light posters, I decided to try an experiment I've been working on for many years to perfect... and I've never been this happy with the results of one of my projects! The front cover skulls are all hand made in fuzzy white velvet like how the vintage posters had black fuzzy velvet borders. These were extremely laborious to execute, expensive and a huge mess to clean up after, this is why nobody has really done this kind of technique in decades! Every one is slightly different because they are handmade, not printed. Each one has been handled many times from the process of printing, cleaning, drying and vacuuming them a few times to remove excess fuzzies, so they all have a few minor light scrapes, bumps and clamp marks from hanging up to dry.... but that's the beauty of handmade things, they are not perfect! ..........it's kinda hard to show in a photo how cool and textured these are, but I tried. Wait until you touch them... if you were lucky enough to get one!..... If not, I just put the last five copies in the store now! They also come with an autographed CD featuring bonus tracks.... don't forget The Deluxe Edition and Not-So-Regular Edition vinyls as well, ...we have a version for everyone's budget!"
