Love the production...the bass and drums sound huge without drowning out the vocals...the playing is awesome and the song's brevity left me wanting to hear more...great stuff!...when does the album drop?

The official release date is May 24th... It will hit iTunes next month, cd shortly thereafter, and the vinyl will hit the streets in June.

Thanks for the heads up...I'm gonna try to catch one of their post-SXSW shows in IN or IL with Backwoods Payback...I wish I had an excuse to schedule a business trip to STL in March, b/c Lo-Pan, Backwoods Payback, Torche and the Tilts - which I think has a Shame Club member or two - are playing at a bar on the same night...

Am I the only one who finds their vocals sound distractingly like Maynard James Keenan at times?

I hear some Maynard, but I hear a lot more of Jonah from Only Living Witness...

Definitely get more of the Jonah vibe (similar emotion in particular, but with more complex melodic sense), though I hear the Maynard thing as well (particularly in the dynamics).

I don't see either of these things as a weakness. In fact, Jeff stands as one of the best singers I've ever worked with, and one of my favorite voices in rock.

I could not agree more. He's one of my favorites in the game right now. Nice guy too.
