At the Satellite, ex Spaceland venue.

Dusted Angel kicked it off, good band, wild mix of influences and sound but they make it work. Would love to see these guys at a party or play on a floor up close with beer flying everywhere. Dug it, would like to hear it on record to full take it in.

Fu Manchu: Opened with King Of the Road and 5-6 newer classics like California Crossing. Really got the crowd pumped up and happy before they went into In Search Of. The record sounded great live, maybe better than the album. I was into every song and didn't know how much I dug the record until now. The energy in the club was great, almost sold out, and people were really digging it and the band was too. This was a great Fu show, probably the best or 2nd best Ive seen and I recommend seeing this tour to anyone thats dug them now and especially "then".

Yep, all killer, no filler for sure. I first saw the Fu on the In Search Of tour, so this was a nice "full circle" kind of show for me. They crushed it.

It's been over ten years since I've seen Fu Manchu, but I'd totally hit up a set where they play 'In Search of...'.

Dusted Angel is Clifford (and I think his brother Dave) from Bl'ast.

Thx for the review and setlist. Looks very promising. I plan to catch them in London since I will be there with my son at the time. His introduction to the Heavy.

Thanks for the review. I wish I could have seen this show. I love "In Search Of" and the unfortunate memory I have from the last time I saw them was that they played "Strato Streak" and right when they were about to kick into the extended breakdown with that killer riff... Scott Hill started yapping to the crowd and I was like "WTF!?!? you ruined the best part of the song! Agh!"

Ticket for the Machester show arrived this morning. With that setlist, it should be a good 'un.

I'd love to see "Seahag" and "Cyclone Launch" live.

Am I the only one who thinks 'King Of The Road' is their best album?? I'd love to hear that played in entirety.
