Shame there's no video of this anywhere. Least I can't find any.

I made a total ass outta myself, and had such a great time doing it.
Stomping, headbanging, throwing my fist in the air all fuckin night.

Sourvein was great, best time I've seen'em. Might have been because T-roy included me and my buddy in the chorus for Dirty South, and handed me the mic altogether to butcher a verse of the aforementioned groove-fest. Picked up a beer kozie (why do i keep buying these?) and their new 7" split with Coffins, good new track, Dingy Haunt.
Exchanged a few words and got a pic with T after the show. He was very appreciative and very glad we all had a good time.

Weedeater, mindblowing as usual. Such awesome energy. They lock in a groove tight as fuck, heavy as dino-shit and just ooze rock-n-roll. It was damn cool passing Dixie a joint as they fired up the 18-wheeler-wall-of-open-bottom-string intro.
They don't switch up the playlist much though. Time Served is a guarantee. Monkey Junction's usually a safe bet. Sometimes you get Bull, but besides that, the first two albums don't get much play.
Of course, each heavy Side A suite was played from the most recent two LPs.
Always fun when they do Gimme Back My Bullets (the coolest was when they opened for Down and Jimmy Bower joined'em on guitar.)
And as usual, they closed the night with Weed Monkey and if you were there you saw my puking-later-that-night drunk bud get on stage and just kinda stand there, throwing his fists up and singing along before getting pulled off by his shirt. Shame, he doesn't even remember Weedeater that night.
Happens to the best of us.
