Is it illegal to talk about BP on here? What a long strange trip it's been.
I saw Black Pyramid 2.0 (3.0 if you want to count original bassist Eric Beaudry/Beardry/BeardoMacabeard). In a town hall/community center in the next town over. I enjoyed it, although it was a bit awkward, because
1. There were only about twenty people left in the room by the time they went on and all the lights were on for the first half of the set, making the emptiness and lack of ambiance obvious.
2. Andy Beresky is not in the band.
3. I went by myself and I'm an awkward guy.
To Clay, Darryl and Gein I will say the older songs were just as strong, and whatever the new one was you played after "Ouroboros" , it was fucking heavy!
I'd prefer to see this band in a better setting like Worcester or Boston, with a larger crowd, although the people at this show were very supportive. What do you do when your friend's band isn't your friend's band anymore, but you still like the guys and you still like the band? You go see the band. I told Clay good luck in Europe, and I honestly am very interested in new material. Vaya con dios.
The only complaint I have is that it was too fucking loud in there. Now I've got that damn Tintin-itus.
