I don't know how many of you caught the Rock For Isaiah Benefit concert out at the Desert Moon Ranch last month, but their brilliant half-hour set was recorded on audio and video and will probably end up being officially released, perhaps in 2011. Though it was short, the Yawning-Man-with-Tony-on-drums set featured the righteous 'Catamaran' with John Garcia singing. Lo-fi clips of it are on YouTube, but a professional release of it, again, is likely to come. They wrapped the set with a spontaneous jam that is not to be missed...

Gary Arce lives in Bend, Oregon now. He is jamming with local musicians up there, he's jumped right into it, so some cool stuff is bound to come of it.

As a member of Gary's new band up here in Bend, I'm wondering how anyone could have possibly known of our existence, particularly since we barely exist.

I know Gary, that's how I knew he has relocated. Don't know of your specific band, but look forward to hearing more of the music you all will be creating together. Oh- I think there might be plans brewing for Big Scenic Nowhere to play in Bend, but I don't want to jump the gun too soon... Cheers!

Great news! Gary has moved back to the desert from Oregon and will be getting things going again full swing with Big Scenic Nowhere. Been speaking with him and there are some righteous stokes in the fire... stay tuned...

Bummed to miss this show, will be out of town. Half Astro, Dali's Llama, The Hellions and Auto Modown are all great bands.
