Here's a very short review:

I saw Earth in the UK a few weeks back. They were nowhere near loud enough, to the point where crowd chatter was louder than the band. Anyone else see them and have this problem or was it just a shitty venue / PA?

Mr Carlson looked well enough though.

i just saw them a couple of nights ago in boston and it was plenty loud enough, especially the cello and bass, you could feel it. not crushing loudness, mind you, but definitely loud. they sounded great, maybe there was a naff sound system where you saw them. and yeah, dylan looks like an outlaw, like you wouldn't want to mess with him.

They were not very loud in Chicago, but I didn't think that was the point. I had to glare at a woman who was standing up front and talking until she got the point that she should shut up. Aside from that, I felt the volume was appropriate for what they were playing.

It was loud enough at Le Poisson Rogue (you can't get TOO loud at that place because their system doesn't seem to be all that great), but it was a pretty small show and everyone shut the fuck up. Which was nice.

Dylan Carlson is the man.

I saw them in Milwaukee a few months back. Earth is great but not a band I'll go see live again, I found it incredibly fucking boring.
