Only 3 episodes in. Desperate to watch more, but fucking life responsibilities.

I'm going to marathon the hell out of the rest of the show this weekend.

Fisk? He had a brief appearance at the end of the third episode (also, WTF with that dude and the fence! Jesus.) and had a phone convo in the pilot (or maybe it was the second episode), so we've already been introduced. But believe me, I cannot fucking wait to see what D'Onofrio does with him during the rest of the season.

What he does is amazing. He's tremendous. As is the series (we're up to episode 6) as a whole. Sure, it gets a bit too "The Dark Daredevil" but there's so much to like. My only complaint is that it's a hard PG-13 (more like an R, if we're honest), so I can't let the 7-year old watch it. Shit's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too violent and, if we're talking about the SUV door scene, disturbing.

Definitely not for kids. Definitely pushing that PG-13 boundary.

I wasn't nuts about the Foggy/Karen stories but they pick up in later episodes. I think either the dialogue gets better with Foggy or I had just gotten used to it.

And yeah, D'Onofrio plays Kingpin in such a way that it gets in your head. Like Ledger's Joker, he's wholly charismatic, even sympathetic, but completely dangerous.

Also, Scott Glenn as Stick is a high point as well. Have fun with that.

*squish*

Don't interrupt Fisk during a date...good to know!

This is a new Daredevil cartoon? Live action?
What channel is this on?
Love the Kingpin, one of my favorite Marvel villains.

A second season is coming, which is kind of surprising to me because I thought all of the Marvel Netflix shows were going to be one-offs that lead to The Defenders. Very pleasant news, in any case.

From what I understand the next season won't come until after they've released Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, and probably after The Defenders as well. But we shall see.

I don't know. The press release says Horn Head Season 2 is in 2016, Jones only started production in February this year so probably around January 2016 is the earliest we can hope for. Luke Cage is still in pre-production and we don't even have Iron Fist cast much less a show runner. I'm not sure how that's going to fit in with the whole Netflix plan with the Defenders. We did have two Iron Man films before the Avengers for what that's worth. From what I can tell a realistic schedule works like this:
Daredevil (2015)
AKA Jessica Jones (2016)
Daredevil S2 (2016)
Luke Cage S1 (2017)
AKA Jessica Jones S2 (2017) [a big presumption on my part]
Iron Fist S1 (2018)
The Defenders (2018)
