Looks cool, but don't think anything will top seeing Road Warrior in the front row opening day May 1982. That just about blew my head off. |

It looks really good, but with all the CGI in the last minute of that trailer, you might as well be watching a cartoon, which is a big turn-off to me. I'm sure it'll be excellent though as George Miller is a master and I can see why he would want to make this kind of a movie now (basically to prove that he can smoke everyone else making this kind of movie today). It will be better than the next Star Wars movie. |

Huh, turns out that Toecutter is Immortan Joe in the new movie. |

The engaging, almost frightening aspect to these flicks, is that they almost felt documentary style. As in, for basically a weirdo early sci-fi prog movie, you kind of got the feeling you were there. This new chapter might as well have been done by Christopher Nolan if they decided to go this route. Still, I'll watch it, big Tom Hardy fan, and Theron is a fucking babe and a half |

Especially now that we continue to hurdle into an age where the leaders talk and talk and talk, but nothing will stem the avalanche! |

Seems way too slick and polished. I have almost no expectations for any hollywood movies these days. |

In all fairness, we might all be in here in 2015 calling it "Mad Max: Prometheus" |

I went to a screening of this a couple of weeks ago. I dug it. There was still quite a bit to be finished with the effects and audio. It seemed to fit in between Mad Max and Road Warrior. I'm curious to see if there'll be any major changes between now and the final edit. All in all, good stuff though. |

Just got the Blu-Ray of Road Warrior. In front and center of a 60" Plasma in 5.1 cranked? Hooooolieeeeee Shit awesome! Could a modern production w/o any digital EFX or editing match that? I'd like to see someone try. I'd even let digital post-prodution work slide. Heh. |

^Just saw it on the youtoob. Will definitely see this billed as a "Prequal" in a local Mega CINEPLEX as i'm a massive fan of the first 2 films. But i'm gonna go out on a limb (heh) and say this film will incite much more vocal mainstream CGI bashing. Have to agree that there is good cause. It's getting a bit ridiculous. |

I'm seeing this either later this evening or sometime tomorrow. Reviews and word of mouth have all been really positive from what I've seen and heard. |
