You worked on this, right? What'd you do?

(Also, will watch at a non-work time, provided I remember between now and then.)

Yes, I work on this. But I did not work on this episode.

But don't watch it because I worked on it. Watch it because its fucking supremely funny and smart and couched in all of the sci-fi themes that you love. I just looked at the youtube comments and they are ALL positive. I can't believe it. Not since that grape stomping lady fell off the platform and onto her neck have I seen such uniform sentiments of praise...

It's pretty good. Must be fun to work on a show with such a wide possibility of imaginative settings. I dig the parents.

New episode from last night featuring John Oliver. And a little Dana Carvey in there too.

And a "Slayer moment" in the third act!

Thought the premiere was a little too manic but I watched the one about inception last night and was entertained. Good show to be a part of, Horns.

Watch the one I just posted.

The inception one is my least favorite. I'm so stoked the episode from last night is online. Its fucking awesome.

"We didn't hold back. It's real rapey" is one of my favorites lines ever.

I like it and will continue to watch it but it comes off as trying to be a little too clever for its own good. If that makes sense..

Another two solid episodes. What's the long term prognosis for the show?

Post subject:  Re: Rick & Morty

The show will continue. We've got a couple of gaps in broadcasting schedule for this season, but Adult Swim wants more and more so, yeah.

And probably lots more rape in the storylines for you Arz.

Oh buddy. Here's tonight's episode hand delivered to you via youtube link. And this one is really going to cook your noodle.

Drink deep because the next episode won't be broadcast until four weeks from now. Its one of those tv hiatuses that are so god damned mother fucking annoying.

I like this. Best thing I've seen from Adult Swim in a while, and I'm glad that as the episodes have gone on, Rick has stopped the talking-while-belching thing. Not terrible every once in a while, but it was like every other line in the pilot and that was a bit much. Cool stuff.

Oh. Thanks. I didn't see this until now. Yeah it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. The ratings are pretty damn good.

IN other news, I got to see some of Dan Harmon's new Dan Harmon documentary the other day. Its going to premier at SXSW. You're going to like it.

Also, watch tonight, because Alfred Molina is featured. As... the DEVIL.
(my favorite episode of the season)

Author:  Arzgarth [ Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:03 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Rick & Morty

Alfred Molina as the Devil was inspired casting, as was the overall A story. The B story was a bit underdone so this didn't rank as highly as some of the earlier episodes. Still, I appreciate the hell out of the utter randomness of the ending.
