Anyone check out the pilot last night..? After hearing the online buzz about it being screened in it's entirety (6-8 hours) at the festival, I was on board..Very engrossing, very well done..so far. (It's been broken up into a min-series on the Sundance Channel) To avoid spoilers, I will leave it as, think 'The Killing' bullshit series (that I abandoned mid-season) with an omnipresent feeling of 'this can't end well' actually done with a level of the whodunnit element removed. Great acting, character development and scenery is amazing. It's developed into quite an interesting storyline, with my only problem being, I wish this was in High Def so could fully enjoy how it should be viewed. http://www.amctv.com/mad-men/videos/top ... ke-trailer |

They just added this to Netflix Instant - so I added it to my queue. Heard really good things about this series, hope to check it out on some lazy Sunday coming up. |

Peter Mullan is the greatest movie-psycho in a long time. Dennis-Hopper-Blue-Velvet-good. |

I watched an episode of this because my roommate is into it. It does have a kind of dusky, oppressive vibe to it that I like. But it's hard to sustain an ominous atmosphere and audience interest at the same time from what I've seen over the years. |
