I caught "A Liar's AutoBiography" it's a semi factual doc about the life Monty Python's Graham Chapman. REALLY well made animation.

End of Watch, Downfall, The Machinist lately all really good. Downfall was great actually. Trying to find some more good Korean movies here. The Man from Nowhere was pretty good.

I Saw The Devil, Chaser and The Yellow Sea are are South Korean films streaming on Netflix that are definitely worth checking out. Also Oldboy and Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, but you've probably seen those. Heard good things about Thieves but have not seen it.

Yeah, that was pretty good. Just as the Eskimos have 80 different words for "snow," Karl Urban has a myriad of scowls that express his deepest emotions.

We also watched this last night, as it happens. Mr. Frownypants takes on Cersei Lannister. It was no Ip Man.

HOLY SHIT he fucked ruled in that movie.

The shit with the slo-mo executions down the atrium also ruled. As did the throbbing industrial score, the dystopic visuals, Ma-Ma, etc.

Been making my way through Orange is the New Black. The last few seasons of Weeds left me pretty cold, so I wasn't going to bother with this. Then the internet had good shit to say about it and I reconsidered. Glad I did. It might be the best and most consistent original out of Netflix yet, but seems like it's going to be a sleeper. Too bad, it's good stuff.

I actually agree. Not being a fan of Weeds, but this show is way better. Great ensemble of characters of depth. Recommended.

"There Will Be Blood" was just added.

Recently watched "Hopscotch" with Walter Mathau, and man, I really enjoyed that movie.

Watched Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. I'd heard the urban legend about Chuck Barris being a spy for the CIA but never thought much of it. Not quite the case I guess, and I don't know how much truth there really is to it and what was shown in the movie, but it was a good flick. I'll watch anything with Sam Rockwell.

I'm really late to this, but those of you that have seen Dredd and haven't seen The Raid should remedy that. Similar premise (cops trapped in high-rise, fight to the boss at the top), but with amazing martial arts work instead of guns. It's not on IW, but is very much worth tracking down on home video (called The Raid: Redemption on HV for some reason).

Oh, and I finished Freaks and Geeks. I'd caught a lot of it during IFC marathons, but never saw all of it or in the proper order.

Been watching this one and not getting the hype for it. Don't hate it and will stick with it, but if it wasn't on Netflix with all episodes available for marathon viewing there no way I would bother with this. Prefer Weeds to it... which I wasn't a huge fan of, but it was amusing enough. Agree that the final seasons of that show were a bit of a miss.

As for original Netflix material, I will take House of Cards myself. I really liked that one.

Just got an app in Chrome so I cab watch the american Netflix. What do you guys recommend? All genres, TV, movies, I'm interested in all of it. Good with some tips, since it's a lot to filter through.

Steve Coogan's "Alan Partridge" film is about the funniest fucking movie I have seen in a very very long time. Highly recommended.
