"Here you go, honey. It's a bloody zombie arm. Happy Valentine's day!"

I hope Merle kills the Governor first thing come February. Unfortunately that seems unlikely.

This is the first time since the pilot that I've been legit excited about the show, the season so far has been fan-fucking-tastic.

Great episode, great half-season. This waiting until February sucks, but I guess it could be worse (like the current gap between Breaking Bad's).

those new folks at the prison better come back at some point, because this show is desperate need of some fresh blood and some new characters.

Really good opening, but the last 30 minutes dragged. It still seems like this "second act of the third season" is going to pick up where the first half did, given the inevitable Woodbury vs. prison group war they've put into play.

It's pretty much been spoilered by the various commerical spots AMC has been running, but there is no way Merle and Darryl stay out in the wind for very long.

So....Last weeks episode was the best in the series so far, imo.

Last night was rad, but there has been way too much filibustering in the second half of this season. Higher-end cable series shows need to be 11-13 episodes in a season, tops.

Last night's episode was the best since Carl offed his mom.

Also, Merle cranking Motorhead "Fast & Loose" FTW

Speaking of, what are the odds of finding a random appropriate Motorhead CD just laying around after the zombie apocalypse?

Especially in a car that looked like that. Did you see the wheels on that thing?

I was surprised it even had a car alarm until they showed a glimpse of the stereo panel.

Good finale. I had to stay up until 5 AM in Atlanta(!) to see it. I flew there from the west coast the night of the finale and didn't land until after 1 AM.

Kind of glad to see Andrea bite it. She seems to have been a generally unpopular character, which I have bought into. That she's spent 18-24 months in the zombie apocalyse and then spent a good hour chatting with a dying Milton before trying to escape was Darwin-ism working at it's finest. Also, a nice contrivance that the hottest gal in the Woodbury camp ends up landing in the prison right after Andrea bites it.

I think the first "half" of this season was pretty unfuckable, but they replace the producer of that right after Sandy Hook happened, so we'll probably never see any outlandish cartoon violence to that level again. It'll probably become more psychological like the second season was, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We'll have to wait and see.

I actually really enjoyed the "life goes on" angle of the episode. It's the first time I've ever seen the characters settle in so much, and that includes their comic counterparts. I'm also really looking forward to the debut of one of the more recent comic characters who was confirmed during NYCC as showing up later this season.

I'm not watching this season. I'm just not feeling it after the exquisite drama that was "Breaking Bad".
In other words; Merle's dead. I'm out

Totally digging this season and the last two episodes of the Governor's reprise. Really looking forward to what happens on Sunday!

I couldn't stay away and got sucked back in this season. Glad I did, because this has been the darkest season.
Last night's episode was mint.

Nah. I'd give that honor to "Clear" from last season or maybe the pilot. Still a fun episode though.

This was a fairly interesting time in the comics that's about to come up. The season has had an anthology feel to it, and I bet the next half of the season will continue that trend in a big way.

I was wondering how they were going to work in a certain trio that I knew was coming up this season at some point. I didn't think they were going to do so in as faithful a manner to the comic as it seems we're going to get. Neat. I can't wait for Cudlitz to show up.

Every season they've had has been better than the one before it, although the whole symbolic death angle in this last ep was a little overdone. It was pretty predictable where they'd end up after the first two or three minutes of the episode.
