Is it possible? I'm afraid it might be.

Kevin Smith just might have gone and redeemed himself.

I saw this quite some time ago and wanted to dislike it, but couldnt. Yeah, I wont ruin the ending, but felt a bit contrived, but still the rest of the movie worked well for me.

kind of a thriller meets satire at of WBC that I wouldn't say goes too far into the horror genre to be considered such (as it's labeled), but will keep you interested.

I'll reserve the spoilers

Yeah I enjoyed this one too. The ending was the only letdown. Great performances by the entire cast but yeah Parks especially. Goodman looked a bit weird having dropped all that weight

Liked it but it felt like a TV-episode and was over too soon. Lots of cool characters that only started to develop. Guess I am watching too many TV-series.

Yeah, it did feel rushed in the last 3rd of the film..come to think of it. It just kind of builds a head of steam (and a pretty good one, for someone who's used to directing 'mall' movies)

I like his thought process though..and Ive had thoughts/visions roll through my head almost on the same wavelength when these southern baptist nutjobs start acting up. It's kind of like a bad dream..but it just kind of ends (or you get woken up, in this case) right when the going gets good.

I liked how it ended. admittedly I went in not knowing it was a KS film (probably wouldn't have bothered had I known tbh) and had no expectations whatsoever, so the ending came way out of left field. I also don't think there would have been many other ways to end the movie besides the obvious one.

point taken. the fact that this movie can stimulate conversation (though dont want to ruin it by giving away the ending) is a good sign that maybe Kevin Smith can make a real movie.

I would have liked to see it end in Waco fashion with about a half hour tagged on, maybe as alittle dig on the way the gov't handled that mess.
