By far the best b-grade zombie movie I've seen in a while.

Well worth checking out.

well, I don't know if it's better, but better is subjective. it's different as in it's a more traditional, slower paced zombie movie.

but if it helps, I had no intention of ever purchasing La Horde, but I will be purchasing this one.

Thanks ez, best zombie new zombie feature I've seen in a long time.

I think this film really gets what the zombie fan is looking for out of the genre. The writing and acting could have been much better it didn't hamper my enjoyment.

It wasn't bad.

Any other recommendations?

In terms of lower budget zombie movies? not really. I've seen a bunch that went from bad (DeadHeads) to really fucking abysmal (The Dead and The Damned). Nothing that would even hold a candle to The Dead, which itself can't hold a candle to the classics, or the well made big budget Z movies.

but speaking of those, World War Z, REC 3, Resident Evil 5 and to a lesser extent, The Goon, are all being released next year.

there was a nazi zombie movie that is supposed to be out soon (Divx versions already on some trackers), but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. but looking for that name I stumbled upon a UK nazi Z flick called 4th Reich which will be out whenever it's out (IMDB says 2013). this wouldn't normally pique my interest except that Tom Savini looks to play the lead in it.

[edit]
the movie I was looking for is called War Of The Dead, but I was mistaken that it's online already.

Hold on, I forgot Rammbock aka Berlin Undead aka Siege Of The Dead. that one's actually pretty darn good, but the dry German humour might be a bit much for the unacquainted viewer.
